We no longer have Gizmo he had to be put to sleep in February 2026 because the lack of experience from Bath Veterinary Group. They claimed he had Arthritis for months, but the fact was he had Neurological problems. This is the problem with Bath Vets, they seem to always mis diagnose pet problems. Above all they are very greedy when it comes to money. We took Gizmo to Langford Vets where they properly diagnosed him and he had to be put to sleep. Langford Vets University of Bristol are great and very professional. They have a huge site as this is where they train future vets. Blue is already registered with them.

We now have Blue he is another Akita (as we love this breed of dog). He is very friendly to people and other dogs. He is extremely affectionate and loyal. We had to travel a great distance to get him from York, but it was worth it. As we now have another perfect dog. He is learning “left paw and right paw” as well as “leave, wait etc” He is fully house trained and lets you know when he needs to go out.
